Office Manager / Production Assistant
Steel Wool Studios is hiring for a full-time in-office role in Las Vegas, NV. WFH is an option periodically, but most duties require being in the office.

Office Manager (60%)
- Receive, scan, and distribute mail
- Pack, ship, and log equipment for remote employees
- File important business documents
- Create and maintain pleasant office environment
- Troubleshoot office equipment
- Manage vendors for office services (HVAC, internet)
- Purchase supplies and equipment for office and employees
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
- Occasional larger projects as assigned
Production Assistant (40%)
- Assist with incoming/outgoing communications and scheduling for executive staff
- Assist hiring team by communicating with potential candidates, scheduling interviews, and processing necessary paperwork
- Research various topics/products to help guide business decisions
- Assist staff and contractors with various questions
- Assist production team with miscellaneous production needs, (file management, group meetings, ordering swag)
- Stay informed of internet chatter related to studio projects
Ideal candidate
The PA/OM is a member of the Production team, which is the functional backbone of our company. The ideal candidate for this role is an excellent communicator with a customer service focus - the customers in this case being the company’s contractors, vendors, and staff. They can manage multiple priorities and communicate when difficulties arise and help is needed. They work well in a distributed team environment while often in solo mode and have the ability to plan ahead and anticipate future needs of their team members and the company as a whole.
Minimum requirements
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States
- Current NV driver’s license
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- Facility with remote work platforms (work chat and teleconference platforms)
- Comfortable in a distributed work environment (working solo while being a team player)
- Customer-service mindset
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Gmail, GCal, Drive, Google Forms)
- Able to lift 40 pounds by themselves
- Able to solve 3D puzzles, such as IKEA furniture
- Eye for aesthetics (example: office internal design)
- Basic IT troubleshooting skills
- Moderate research skills
